Disclaimer

Do the cashless health-check services have any tax implications?

  • The cashless health-check services are funded by HCLT for the family members of the employees and covered by insurance in case employees avail the same.
  • Even if a service is fully funded by HCLT or a certain part, only tax component must be borne by an employee since he/she is availing it as a service as per the government rules.
  • For e.g. If an employee falls under 5% tax bracket and he/she avails health check or other service being funded by HCLT. Let’s say, the price of health check is Rs 2500. So instead of paying the full Rs 2500 for the health check, the employee will have to bear 5% of Rs 2500 i.e., Rs. 125 for availing the health check for a family member.
  • Similarly for other services being funded by HCLT for the employees or their family members.

Smile correction using Zirconia crowns

Patient reported to the dental OPD with the chief complaint of stained and mal-aligned anterior teeth. Initial plan was to restore only the small lateral incisors using veneers, but after evaluation of images and radiographs the decision in consent with the patient was taken to restore his complete smile line using four zirconia Crowns. The result was a beautifully aligned and all fluorotic stains were masked.

Full mouth rehabilitation using implants

Patient reported to the clinic with a complaint of grossly broken teeth and inability to chew properly. On evaluation it was found that the patient had twenty root stumps with no actual teeth. All root stumps were removed and 6 implants each in the upper and lower jaw were placed and a implant supported fixed dentition was given to the patient. Patient reported to the clinic with complaint of discoloured and multiple carious teeth spoiling his smile He was advised porcelain/Ceramic veneers, tooth preparation was done followed by digital intraoral scan, and models were prepared through 3D printing. The veneers were delivered to the patient, and he is very satisfied with the result

Apicoectomy Surgery

Patient reported to the clinic with the history of traumatic fall and discoloration of lower incisor On xray and cbct evaluation it was found a lesion extending from central incisor to canine. Apicoectomy was planned for the patient and surgery was performed, enucleation was done, and bone grafting was done to fill the defect. Patient is recovering well from the procedure

Patient was undergoing orthodontic treatment for mid-line diastema closure. The central were spaced due to fibrous tissue in the interdental area. The labial attachment (frenum) was cut, and fibrous tissue was excised using lasers making the procedure comfortable, blood-less and pain-less.
